报告摘要：This talk mainly introduces the mathematical problems form biological mathematical models described by partial differential equations in the evolving domains. We first introduce the research background of evolving domains. Then we focus on a single population and an infectious disease model and discuss the effects of finite growing domain and periodically evolving domain for population dynamics respectively.

专家简介：凌智，扬州大学数学科学学院教授、院长。兼任江苏省工业与应用数学学会副理事长、江苏高校数学学科联盟第一届理事会理事。主要从事偏微分方程、生物数学领域的研究，曾在新加坡国立大学、丹麦科技大学、丹麦Roskilde大学、泰国朱拉隆功大学进行学术交流与访问。主持和参加国家自然科学基金项目8项、省自然科学基金项目4项，发表学术论文30余篇。
